Long post for investors:
I think a few people suggested that and thank you for the compliment for K-Man and myself.
I have a clear vision of the type of board members Rory should bring on board and I can assure you, I am not it. As I spoke with Rory, Jeff, Dennis, Kurt, Denise, etc. they executing the plan exactly as I would have drawn up.
You don't want a board member that thinks the same, you want someone that thinks very different, even if it's not the path you should or want to go. Challenging thinking is key to generating the best ideas. Arguing and disagreement brings out the best. The best. This is why Ted and I go head to head and one of the few I never will put on ignore and there are plenty.
I imagine that's what goes on inside the nFusz. Someone doesn't just throw out an idea and everyone says, brilliant spock!, lets do it. You got a team of top talented individuals that will take an idea and bring it to not the next level, but far beyond.
I know K-Man, myself and many other investors can help the company in small ways and each of us are doing our little part to make that happen that will never be known.
Rory is a listener which is rare in this would where everyone fills the channels with noise. Who listens these days? People talk over others to get their opinion out which is just silly. Better to shut up and filter the ideas.
I can tell you when I spoke to Rory on the floor of the Oracle conference and the two evenings, he listened to everyone. I was kind of surprised. I expected the "guys this is going to be great and let me tell you why for the next 3 hours".
He walked around the table to get to know every investor AND their SO. He asked questions but mostly listened. Who does that these days? It's too bad investors significant others don't have an account to post their thoughts on the evenings. He did say Redspeed, those cute Memes have to go.

Rory must be doing 80hrs a week in the left lane. I hope he can find a Rory Jr. to take some of the load. Maybe at some point I can help more. Plan to retire over the next 4 months
At the end of one of the evening Mauibound asked of what was said could we share on the message boards and Rory said everything! There were no secrets shared. It was like meeting an old friend. I know a number of investors that met Rory that week and will say this guy is about as humble and as real as it gets. If anyone ever gets the opportunity to meet him, it will be special. Ask him about his RV trip with the dogs and his wife.
My final thoughts. I don't think Rory is doing this for the money. I don't know what his bank account looks like, but I imagine he did well with Telx. I get the feeling he's doing this for the challenge, for the family (which is truly his employees), to do good, to do the right thing and leave a legacy.
notifiEDU I am sure he's passionate about based on the SHAC. This space is tranformational. I'll post sometime in the next few days an example that I am familiar with of the ROI that can come from education. I think people will be very surprised.
If reach this point, congrats. You are a long investor!
