Good vs Evil ...pretty obvious when reading below ...Imo..
So I never post in here, but I have been following the board chatter for a few months and wanted to give me some food-for-thought and to post a little background based on what I've been reading. In 2001 when I 'broke-out' in the Oil and Gas industry I took a job with Halliburton in Odessa, TX as a FRAC Engineer. At that time we ran 2 crews (Red/Grey Teams), and for all intents-and-purposes were in the middle of a 'boom.' Today, that same yard in Odessa has 5 crews running 7 days a week and can't keep up with the amount of work being thrown their way. Through promotion and sheer bad-luck, I moved on from the FRAC side into the MUD business with Baroid (subsidiary of Halliburton). Gentlemen I encourage you to google Mud Engineer and look at the number of job postings for this position. IT's a 6 figure job, and companies are begging people to come work for them (What's this mean?) What's the Rig Count data say over the past 24 months??
We operate in an efficient market (again, google that)...it's why we marvel at the Berkshire Hathaway's and FEW Famous Investors who are able to consistently win...It just doesn't happen often, our market isn't setup to be manipulated or forecasted...are there trends, sure! Can you use analytics as a tool to make informed decisions, absolutely! Will numbers, charts, and risk adversement ever be able to conclusively tell you who how to invest...NO!
Lastly, I have made a full-circle and now work in the HPI/Middle-Market Segments of the chemical industry (Refining/Waste Water) If you think that refineries are slowing down or cutting back, you my friends are misinformed....What I don't want to do is name-drop (I want you to do your own research) but do this-- There's a refinery in Arkansas, East Texas, and now Big Spring TX (all owned by the same company) that's making some major moves for the upcoming ramp-up for the demand in oil. Why would they do this? (Mapquest Big Spring, TX to Fort Stockton, TX) Guys, you'd be an absolute fool to listen to these naysayers and not take a shot at this stock.
As a side-note, is it me or is it kinda creepy that the same doom and gloom post in here everyday? These are the same dudes in highschool who wanted you to stand in the corner with them instead of taking a chance and asking a girl to dance at a school function. You dudes need to get a life, it's kinda weird how obsessed you are with posting your non-sense...The truth is, you're in this forum because you have a vested interest (you're most likely MMEX investors too), so give it a break already. If you don't have anything of substance to say, get out of here...and if you're not investors of MMEX...dude, that's just weird.
I encourage you to read the doom-and-gloom from 6-13-18 and respond to the 'no data to support the need for a refinery in that area'....and then use ANY search engine and type in the words 'permian basin crude' and see just how far off these guys are.
