Lamperd Less Lethal, Inc. (OTC PINK: LLLI), an innovation leader and manufacturer of advanced security solutions for law enforcement, military and other users worldwide, has been selected by the Republic of Turkey to provide keynote speakers on the latest developments in Less/Non Lethal technologies and Public Order/Crowd Control techniques at the international SEDEC Security and Defense Conference to be held in Ankara, Turkey on July 3-5, 2018. CEO Barry Lamperd will be traveling to the SEDEC Conference along with Lamperd's international sales representative and chemical engineer Amer Ebied. Toronto Police Officer Jim Bremmer and Paul Gagne, a Police Officer from the Sarnia area, will also be attending on Lamperd's behalf as experts in the tactical deployment of Less/Non Lethal options. Lamperd has been provided with a 24 foot long display area to showcase some of the company's most important products which will include our Crowd Control Tank, 37mm & 40mm Launchers, Aerial Burst Pepper Spray Device, WASP ammunition and the very successful Defender 1 and Defender 2 weapons.
The Republic of Turkey has not only selected Lamperd to represent the Less/Non Lethal products and tactics segment of the SEDEC conference but has also been in discussions with us for its own marketing and resale of Lamperd products throughout the European and Asian region. These discussions will be further pursued by Barry Lamperd and his team at the conference. Additionally, the Lamperd team is scheduled to meet directly with representatives of multiple countries who will be attending SEDEC regarding Lamperd products and training to address growing security needs in many crisis areas around the world.
Amer Ebied of CEO Barry Lamperd's team commented, "I am honored that Lamperd Less Lethal has been chosen as one of the best industry authorities to present the latest and most important information on Less/Non Lethal products, tactics and training at this year's SEDEC conference in Turkey. On the global scale, the current use of conventional force is becoming highly problematic. As public order and crowd control become a top priority in most nations, it increases the urgency to utilize novel technologies that ensure safety, performance and flexibility. The strong growth expected in the Less/Non Lethal weapon industry being seen today is caused mainly by a rise in public order offenses and a reduction of major crimes that traditionally require use of lethal force. All this has led to a realization that more than 90% of everyday offenses do not require the use of conventional lethal force. Lamperd's detailed presentation will shed light on the rising need and latest technological advancements in the field of Less/Non Lethal force."
