The public retail investor accounts for a relatively small ownership of the overall company. Most of the common shares are tied up behind the scenes as restricted, and all of the preferred is in the hands of Gurba and insiders.
Even though Gurba doesn't appear to be that concerned with the retail investor, surely he must realize that we are the ones controlling the price of the common stock. Even though our trading amounts are small, it is our selling that sets the overall valuation.
All-in-all, it is disappointing that the company turned out to be managed as it has.
