That's how I understood it, but what I was uncertain about was whether they simply transitioned the Phase 1 into a Phase 2 by agreement with the IRB, or if in fact the Phase 2 is new trial which they established as the Phase 1 was winding down. One thing is certain, you wouldn't be doing a Phase 2 if the Phase 1 didn't prove it was safe to do so, and safety was what the Phase 1 was about.
I just hope they will officially report what's been said here, the Phase 1 completed successfully, and we're now in a Phase 2. I would also hope they tell us about other trials that are either underway, or are about to be. I don't see any reason why they need to wait for the end of the month, just because they said it would happen this quarter, if the Phase 1 portion is completed, announce it.
