Three patent licences that would have been bought costs more than one licence. If you bought GuardedID ,OOBA, MFA it costs you more. Treble damages on THREE=9.
Its not a punishment unless they have to pay MORE than what three licences would have cost them to begin with.
They have damaged reputation of SFOR thus leading the way for others to stomp on SFOR too. Also the income loss cost SFOR from being able to advertise their products and product development like BlockSafe being put on slower release which cost them huge. When Bitcoin was on such a growing high if BlockSafe had been released then SFOR would already have Billions in the bank. Govt contracts, PCI all of that would have happened sooner. Thus the company patents would have grown in value too. They are already worth billions under this suppression. Had all that not happened SFOR would have been a Mega Billion dollar company already where it rightly belongs and our pps would have been $$$. Thus treble damages are appropriate on three licences. IMHO on watching other companies growth and pps. Our stock should be worth more than all the infringers stock and more. IMO.
