Mr. Vinson has over 35-years experience in managing the marketing efforts for innovative technology in emerging markets. He began sales efforts in the technology sector with the commercialization of the Internet in 1995. His focus is on expanding ventures that are marketing technology in order to exploit opportunities for rapid capital formation in these growth areas and to increase company valuation for investors.
Mr. Vinson raised more than $470 million for 35 start-up companies. All went on to have significant market caps due to his successful efforts that increased sales, revenues, and profits. In 1975, he created a company that was the first exporter of California wine to Japan, which created a multi-billion export market for California wine. He was an early investor in Netscape, Yahoo!, and many other tech companies. He managed a venture capital fund with $250 million under management.
Mr. Vinson has a BA in Business Economics (double major) from UCLA, a Masters in Broadcast, Radio, and Television from SFSU and a MBA from Boston University where he graduated summa cum laude.
