a 'Huge Signal' by Asking Senate for Immunity
< >
Judge Jeanine Pirro said former FBI deputy Andrew McCabe's request for immunity before testifying to the Senate Judiciary Committee sends a "huge signal."
Speaking on "Fox & Friends" Friday morning, Pirro asked why the former FBI deputy director feels he needs immunity and what he might reveal.
"He needs immunity from what? What will he testify to? He was deputy director of the FBI. Is he going to go after the head of the FBI or is he going to talk about Obama?" she asked.

McCabe was fired in March just a few days shy of his retirement by Attorney General Jeff Sessions after it was reported that he leaked a self-serving story to the press and later lied about it to James Comey.
His attorney said McCable is "eager" to answer questions, but that he could still face prosecution due to the April "criminal referral" by the inspector general.
Meantime, the Justice Department inspector general's report on the handling of the Clinton email case is set to come out on June 14, which is President Trump's 72nd birthday.
