That merger talk was just an attempt to disrupt the board and shift the focus to BS instead of where the company is actually headed.
The big dogs you speak of have been aware of us for a long time, but I agree that what draws their interest is when a company's brands begin to gain serious traction and the balance sheets become attractive.
Still, the major stakeholders in a company that's highly likely to see huge growth by continuing down the path they are on and expanding along the way aren't going to sell that company unless the price is right. I would agree with "maybe someday", but not any time soon.
