BINGO !! 100% CORRECT. I've tried to state the same thing many times.
GIFA has to be careful as all get-out to NOT release any formal U.S. PR that can emphatically state that, they GIFA and what "was" FRFS Firefish (PAST TENSE and no longer exits) are now "rolled into" being one and the same, aka what a reverse merger is and does... especially as far as the FRFS shares are concerned. They could blow their entire FINRA approval process and filing.
They've been using their foreign papers to "HINT" using carefully chosen words such as "ENTERING THE U.S. STOCK MARKET" but one has NEVER, EVER, EVER seen them even hint or use the words "FRFS" or "Firefish" etc. As they CAN NOT DO THAT until the reverse merger into the shell is completed.
They're DOING IT BY THE BOOK as they should be, I'm sure under the advice of their U.S. based securities attorney, a very experienced dude, a professor at securities law, etc
Thus, the "hint" appeared to be, IMO, they "thought" they were about to wrap-up the FINRA filing and get it made "official" and most likely this "tax office share transfer" crap happened, else, as another poster stated, FINRA may have just asked for one more piece of paper or whatever- it happens all the time.
NOTHING IS LATE or even supposedly "taking a long time" (as is being FALSELY STATED HERE THIS AM by people completely IGNORANT of how a reverse merger works or what it even means)....they, GIFA, they started this process in late 2017 and it's only end of May....NOTHING unusual about a large reverse merger FOR A FOREIGN OFF-SHORE company (or any company) reverse merger taking EASILY 6 months to 9 months to even 1 yr is not surprising....
Seen it many times and on companies that were VAPOR-WARE...without any real assets or anything...most recent being the Chinese "car company" which was LITERALLY a one man show for all intents and purposes with no real factory, not much of any assets, no staff really, no employees yet- just a pipe dream and a dude merging a shell, and it was about a NINE MONTH deal....with FINRA....but he got it approved and got it done....
GIFA is just fine...expect some BUYING MAYBE LATER TODAY as the dust settles...it rose 120% IN ONE DAY on even a "hint" of the reverse merger being completed...and that is still in-process....just need FINRA DAILY LIST and it's gonna blow like a 3 megaton nuke....it hasn't even fully re-traced all the gains of the past few days...it's still NET UP...even on this pull-back....ALL IS COOL....PATIENCE.....
