"RADDNight Out" Makes its Debut in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter at Tin Roof

San Diego, California, June 01, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- DRINKING & DRIVING IS NOT AN OPTION

WHAT : RADDNight is a new and exciting outreach program started by RADD® last September in Los Angeles, to stress the importance of having a plan before you head out on the town and that it is never too late to make the right decision to have a sober driver take you home. An exciting new element of this version of RADDNight Out is the opportunity to bring attention to the newly established Designated Driver Promotional Program on www.gaslamp.org/designated-driver-program. The page, launched in late 2017, was developed in conjunction with the RADD® San Diego DUI Task Force, the Gaslamp Quarter Association, and Coca-Cola Bottling Company. The many businesses in downtown San Diego’s historic Gaslamp Quarter provide special offers for designated drivers. It is programs like these that allow millions of Gaslamp Quarter visitors to plan ahead for a safe ride home after a fun night out.

Thursday, June 7th will also feature an opportunity to purchase VIP and General Admission tickets to the 24 th Annual Taste of Gaslamp (June 16, 2018), www.tasteofgaslamp.com, San Diego’s Original Culinary Tour. Drink specials and a few other surprises will round out the evening provided by Tin Roof.

KAABOO Del Mar will also be contributing to RADD, whereby granting guests who purchase their KAABOO Del Mar 2018 passes directly using www.kaaboodelmar.com/radd will have 20% of the purchase donated back to RADD.   You can purchase at the RADDNight event, or on-line at www.kaaboodelmar.com/radd.

The Cassie B Band - Their music draws from the rich sounds of Motown soul and funk that their namesake singer Cassie B grew up listening to. It’s feel good music that makes you want to move. “I’ve been given this gift for a reason,” Cassie says. “I want to use my music to make a positive difference in people’s lives.” The band roster consists of established professional players who have performed on stage with the likes of the Black Eyes Peas, Backstreet Boys, O-Town, Cypress Hill and many others.
