Longwood, FL., May 31, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE via COMTEX) --
Spectrum Global Solutions, Inc., SGSI, +0.00% (the "Company", a single-source provider of end-to-end next-generation wireless and wireline network services and solutions to the service provider (carrier) and corporate enterprise markets, has received over $750K in new purchase orders and receives approval for use of new patented drone technology.
Roger Ponder, CEO stated: A Tier 1 wireless carrier has approved AW Solutions, industry disruptive, proprietary and patent pending, drone (UAV) structural mapping technology services in connection with its existing Master Services Agreement (MSA). The addition of this new service will allow AW Solutions to structurally map and inspect towers and other elevated structures for the carrier. This new technology is particularly attractive to wireless carriers and infrastructure owners as it provides enhanced safety and risk mitigation through removing the need to place climbing crews on towers to collect structural data. The drone mounted "Optical Caliper System" is able to determine structural member sizes to greater than 1/32 inch accuracy".
R"oger Ponder, added, "We continue to see an increase in our revenue and back log as we enter into the second half of the 2018 calendar year. We are continuing to track at a $30 Million plus annual run rate. Hopefully this increase in revenue will lead to a change in market perceptions and increased investor confidence in our Company.
