I have the image there of General Nguyen Ngoc Loan executing a viet cong in the street on TV. Or of ISIS beheading western journalists. Or of the Phillipine president executing suspected drug dealers in the street.

Part of our values is the rule of law and that no one is above the law. Abuses of the system aside, it is a laudable goal -- altho, as I told Pete, my visceral reaction matches yours.
