I think the main companies lobbying against marijuana reform were Big Pharma and alcohol. Those two sectors have shown interest in the field recently so I bet they won't be lobbying anymore to keep it illegal. They will however want to ensure a slice of the action and that could be where we see delays as they try to position themselves in the industry and the coming regulatory environment. Right to try is a great step... now if the Booker or Schumer bill gets some steam soon we are gonna be looking at legalization by 2020. Reclassification of pot to a schedule 3 or 4 drug should be by 2019.
