This is phenomenal. I wasn't sure if it would be on the curve since no one has a solution yet. 10 years made sense to me. That's how they would have viewed self driving cars 10 years ago. There was another article on how the whole sales process is changing. Face to face is fading pretty quickly as the younger gen moves up the ranks. Not only cuts down on travel cost, but sales people can be way more productive if they are in the office or working from home. I am consulting for a company where everyone is all over and everything is done skype. You do wonder how this will effect the airlines in the long run.
All large companies subscribe to Gartner. Subscribe is the wrong word because depending on how much you want, you'll may high 5 figures and 6 figures. It's not cheap to get their advice and access to all their data but worth it in my opinion.
In my previous company I had access for 15 years and read everything I could.
Full disclosure: Gartner did ask me to keep them in mind when I free up for my current consulting gig. There is no one that wouldn't want to work with them as they are viewed as the experts by many.
