Today, the annual Economic and Financial Dialogue was held in Brussels with the EU, the Western Balkans and Turkey. Western Balkan partners and Turkey adopted conclusions based on the countries' Economic Reform Programs, agreeing to deepen economic and social reforms in order to improve the economy and promote competitiveness and inclusive growth.
According to the EU delegation's announcement, the policy recommendations set for Albania focus on pursuing fiscal consolidation, monetary policy development in line with achieving inflation targeting and implementing the remaining measures of the strategy for solving non-performing loans.
The EU Delegation also notes that Albania agreed to ensure the effective liberalization of the energy market and the functioning of energy exchanges, further broaden the mix of energy supply, promote energy efficiency and strengthen the process of cadastral, land registry registration property.
Finally, close the EU delegation notification, the authorities committed themselves to provide sufficient capacity for implementing employment policies, in particular for young people and women, and to address undeclared work.
