Same to you. OWCP is by far my greatest dollar ho

In that June starts at the end of this week, we're getting close to when we should hear Phase 1 Top Line Data for the psoriasis cream. Perhaps when they announce that they'll give us some future guidance on how this product will be developed, and if we're lucky they may give us an update of the corporate presentation which should update the status of all their products.
Without knowing the protocols being used in their upcoming trials, it's impossible to anticipate what sort of results can be acquired. In most cases, Phase 1 Trials use increasing amounts of the drug in trial to determine the most effective dose, and dose limiting tolerance, should negative side effect occur. With our drugs, if the formulation is held constant, this could be achieved by how frequently, or how heavily you dose it. On the other hand, they may have product developed with varying amounts of the cannabis components in them. I suspect that the drug will be the same, and frequency of dosing adjusted, but that could only be confirmed if we could see the trial protocol, which they've not done since the initial filing for the cream safety trial. If they determine they'll do a Phase 2 or 3 in the U.S., I believe they'll reveal that protocol on the clinical trials database.
As we all know GWPH could be a matter of days from getting a drug approval for the first cannabis based product that uses natural extracts of cannabis. After this approval it will be hard for anyone to argue that their are not worthwhile benefits that can be found from cannabis. While clearly cannabis stores sell all sorts of products, none have been tested as the GWPH products have, and I doubt if many have been tested as much as OWCP is doing with its Phase 1's. I'm not putting down these products, but I do believe that once products do gain drug approval, similar products that don't have it will largely disappear. Why? Because insurance coverage of the approved products will make them far cheaper to the consumer, at least to all those who have insurance, and eventually that should be most, if not all of us. This won't happen overnight, but perhaps a decade from now a lot of approved products may be available at our local drug store, Costco, Walmart, etc. and if they are FDA approved, no State's will have the right to say no.
