Market maker games:
A team of MM's working together inner support. MM's can "cross trade", "locking" and "BOXING" between each other and drive a price down and cover immediately. Cross trading is hard to prove who is doing it. It is the perfect crime that seems to continue on a regular basis. Next they can "Lock" a stock down. Lastly, "Box" the stock in and don't let it move a direction they want.
Cross-Trading
Is the control by one or only a few brokers who match purchases and sales to drive up or down the stock price which ever way benefits them.
BOXING:
Where a broker will position himself on both the ask and the bid. This basically rigs the MM to control what they want the price to be.
Locking:
is when the MM on the ask moves to the bid in an attempt to back the bidding MM off to drive the price of the stock down. Thus by attacking the bid, both the bid and the ask are the same price. Sometimes a stock will stay locked for sometime if the bidding Market Maker does not move off the bid wanting more stock
We have been watching for months. We survived the games. They know we know better.
