Want a depressing read? Brace yourself for the information in this article, telling of a National Institutes of Health new set of recommendations to solve the ever-perplexing Alzheimer’s problem.

Not much new or different; merely more syrupy admonitions to try harder, research more, etc.
Here are the major recommendations (see if you can find anything related to Anavex science):

Enabling precision medicine research needed to develop interventions that can address the underlying disease process, as well as the disease symptoms and be tailored to a person's unique disease risk profile for Alzheimer's disease

Supporting the development of novel therapeutics that target the many facets of Alzheimer's disease

Leveraging emerging digital technologies and big data approaches to improve our ability to discover early markers of disease, better track responsiveness to treatment and provide better care

As you could read, a number of these — were they implemented with Anavex research and treatments — would, indeed, bring new hope and perspectives on useful Alzheimer’s treatments and preventions. Think any of that might happen, however? After all, it's known for sure that Alzheimer's is caused by beta-amyloid deposits. Gotta target them, even harder.
