Tucker Carlson called out the city of West Hollywood for declaring Wednesday to be "Stormy Daniels Day."
Daniels, an adult film star whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, is suing President Trump and his attorney over a non-disclosure agreement related to her alleged 2006 affair with Trump and a $130,000 payment she received to keep quiet about it.
On Wednesday, Daniels made an appearance at West Hollywood's Chi Chi LaRue’s and received a key to the city for being a "profile in courage by speaking truth to power."
“(The) Trump administration has been a direct threat to the people of the city of West Hollywood - our LGBTQ community, our immigrant community, women here in this community - so Stormy Daniels has really showed up as the woman to save the Republic,” West Hollywood Mayor John Duran said prior to the event.

Carlson pointed out that Daniels and Trump allegedly had a consensual sexual encounter more than a decade ago, so he doesn't see how she has proven herself to be a "profile in courage."
Liberal radio talk show host Ethan Bearman argued that West Hollywood has a strong LGBT community and Trump has not been an advocate for pro-LGBT policies, so they're celebrating Daniels for battling Trump in court.
"A straight woman who said she had a voluntary sexual encounter with a straight man is somehow a symbol of LGBT resistance?" Tucker countered, calling the notion "absurd."
Bearman said it's about highlighting the "hypocrisy" of Trump taking anti-LGBT stances while his personal life has its own "dark parts," which Daniels is helping to expose.
"Would the city of West Hollywood ... dare have a 'Thomas Jefferson Day' or 'George Washington Day'? Of course not," Tucker said. "To what extent are they degrading themselves with this silliness?"
