It does seem dumb though.
Cause all I “empathized” was what seemed obviously the point of rolling out the phones. It’s one of the cheapest devices that is connected to a wireless network. And it’s something that damn near everyone owns.
It’s the cheapest / most ideal way to role out a technology and make it feasible to create a massive network for blockchain technology.
Imagine every “device” as a short term storage node. Where information always has a “secure” connection and can be transferred to other available devices on the go.
That’s how I think AI for driving cars will be 100% safe to do.
No matter where you go. Blockchain will always have a node / cloud to communicate too. Making it the biggest spider web network ever.
My theory behind it anyways.
