TAMPA, Fla., May 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Greystone Health Network announced that ten of its skilled nursing facilities have earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval ® for Nursing Care Center Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. The Gold Seal of Approval ® is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to providing safe and effective patient and resident care.
The Joint Commission accredited locations include Alhambra Health and Rehabilitation Center (St. Petersburg, Fla.), Apollo Health and Rehabilitation Center (St. Petersburg, Fla.), Lexington Health and Rehabilitation Center (St. Petersburg, Fla.), The Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center (Daytona Beach, Fla.), Terrace Health and Rehabilitation Center (Gainesville, Fla.), Wilton Manors Health and Rehabilitation Center (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.), Isle Health and Rehabilitation Center (Orange Park, Fla.), Ridgecrest Health and Rehabilitation Center (Deland, Fla.), Villa Health and Rehabilitation Center (Deland, Fla.) and Woodland Grove Health and Rehabilitation Center (Jacksonville, Fla.).
Greystone’s health and rehabilitation centers each underwent a rigorous on-site survey in the last 45 days. During the review, Joint Commission expert surveyors evaluated compliance with nursing care center standards related to several areas, including assistance with activities of daily living, coordination of care, and staff education and training. Surveyors also conducted on-site observations and interviews with leaders and staff of the organization.
