TORONTO, May 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Research conducted by Canadian Employer Brand Consultancy Blu Ivy Group has revealed that one of the biggest areas of focus for CHROs across North America is building more consistent employee experiences. In fact, research reveals that 58% of leaders are looking for their employer brand strategy to improve the employee experience and drive employee engagement. Unfortunately, many of today's employer brand projects have little focus on the internal experience, culture and engagement piece, and are not driving the ROI executives are seeking.
Fortunately, on June 13 th the world's foremost employer brand thought leader and trainer, Mr. Brett Minchington, will be joining several of North Americas Employer Brand and Culture leaders from companies such as Blu Ivy Group, Starbucks, Best Buy, Manulife, Sick Kids, Kiewit, Mattamy Homes Kruger Products, Post Beyond, and NAV Canada for a one-day learning summit addressing best practices in branded employee experiences, communications, and talent attraction across industry.
“We know that Employer Brand Crisis Management has been on a steep incline over the last 18 months. In fact, more than 50% of leaders surveyed across North America have indicated they have experienced a social employer brand crisis in the last year. These crises can cost organizations hundreds of thousands of dollars and cause irreparable harm to the brand trust index," says Stacy Parker, Managing Director, Blu Ivy Group. “HR leaders cannot ignore this issue. Knowing potential employer brand threats, creating a culture of branded experiences and employee ambassadors will be key to being a top workplace in the very near future.”
Employer Brand International Chairman/CEO Brett Minchington says, "I am thrilled to spend a day working with Canadian business leaders to evolve the way their organizations are thinking about employer branding as a culture strategy, and share the best practices that will prepare leaders for the road ahead, beyond 2020."
