PLYMOUTH, Minn., May 22, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The TruStone Financial Foundation recently awarded $12,000 in scholarships to nine high school seniors. The applicants were scored on their academic merit, extracurricular activities, work experience and essay response regarding financial management.
“We are proud to award these nine deserving students a scholarship to pursue their secondary education,” shared Steve Bohlig, Chairman of the TruStone Financial Foundation. “Their pursuit of education and dedication to their community are values the TruStone Financial Foundation holds in high regard. Clare McDonald, a South High School graduate attending St. Olaf College in the fall, expressed her appreciation upon receiving her $2,500 scholarship: “I am exceedingly grateful for the scholarship I received from TruStone Financial. Throughout high school, visiting the credit union has meant a lot, as it is the place where I've learned how to manage the money I've earned working.
