Tryg wins case about adjustments in Norwegian pension schemes
With reference to stock exchange announcement no. 13 – 2016, Tryg Forsikring A/S received notice of an action from Finansforbundet in Norway (the Finance Sector Union of Norway) on behalf of a group of pensioners. As stated in the Interim report Q2 and H1 2017, Tryg received the actual lawsuit which concerned the adjustment in the pension schemes of Norwegian employees made in 2014. Tryg additionally mentioned that the claim will not exceed a maximum of DKK 0.3bn after tax.
Today, the court has ruled in favor of Tryg. Tryg is satisfied with the ruling but note that the other side has the possibility to appeal the decision within four weeks.
