So, if you want to reply to them, select "post new msg" rather than "public reply". This accomplishes a few things
1. They don't get credit for a reply
2. They don't even know you responded to their post unless they are actively on our board. In other words, they don't get anything in their mailbox indicating someone replied to their post nor do they get an email notification indicating someone replied
3. They get angry because they can not coax folks into "public reply" so they can get paid
4. The best, You get to respond to a bashers post and state the facts
Note: Sometimes I copy & paste the part of their post that I'm responding to in order to give more meaning to my post since it won't be related to anything.
A lot of these bashers troll several boards at a time and rely on their mail box to see if anyone responds. Not happening now
If everyone would do this, we would have less basher post
