ANDI/UTOP Myth #5 "The company said the Ticker/Symbol change would happen by February 1st, 2018"
Totally FALSE! Here is an exert from a PR dated February 2, 2018 (considering the PR was released February 2, there's no way the Ticker/Symbol change was happening by February 1st):
"Mike Starkweather, CEO, commented, "We're very excited to announce that we have begun the process of changing the current ticker symbol to a symbol that better reflects the company's brand and long-term vision. We hope to be able to secure the symbol 'UTOP', pending its approval. The first step will be filing the name change with the State of Wyoming"
The First step, the name change with the Wyoming SOS, was finalized March 5, 2018.
The Second step, the Ticker/Symbol change with FINRA, is in process, to be announced soon.
FINRA will never release "status" information to shareholders. FINRA prioritizes request based on need and how much they have going on at the time. Another factor is how much the company is asking to be done. Based on all that, the time it takes to complete a "Ticker/Name" change is all over the spectrum. No one person is an expert when it comes to predicting how long FINRA takes. FINRA will normally let the company know a few days prior to the change taking affect. It's up to the company if they want to let folks know early or not.
Once again, a myth is dispelled and we see how awesome this team is. ANDI/UTOP is solid and there has been absolutely no proof provided of any impropriety at all. Big things coming to the shareholders of ANDI/UTOP! Go ANDI/UTOP!
