Tyler Hand , a veteran transactional attorney with extensive middle-market experience, has joined Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis, LLP , the law firm announced today. Hand joins Waller’s Chattanooga office which opened in March 2018 with the arrival of a prominent team for M&A, private equity and mezzanine finance.

Hand earned his J.D. in 2003 from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University where he served as Executive Editor of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and was recognized as a Scholar of Merit. He earned an MBA concurrently from Samford University, and earned his LL.M. in Taxation in 2004 from Northwestern University School of Law. He is the former President of the Chattanooga Tax Practitioners, a nonprofit association of accountants, attorneys, insurance professionals and trust officers dedicated to the study of taxation.
