OYSHO ARRIVES IN LITHUANIA
Oysho strengthens its international expansion strategy with its 674 th store
The Oysho brand of the Inditex Group opens first Lithuanian store at Akropolis Shopping Center in Vilnius on 17 th May. The first Oysho store will have a space measuring 340 sqm, the façade of the store is more than 35 meters.
Just like at other Oysho shops, in this new space customers can find all the brand’s product lines: sleepwear, lingerie, gymwear, beachwear, footwear and accessories. The Oysho collections changed and updated each week, offering a product tailored to each time of year, to the local market and to prevailing trends.
The new shop reflects the new look and feel of Oysho, with a very conceptual design combining white with a mix of materials including wood, marble and brick for a modern, updated look filled with light.
With its entry into this new market – Vilnius - Oysho now has a total of 674 shops worldwide, 190 of which are in Spain. Oysho is present in more than 54 countries. Oysho also has an online shop at www.oysho.com.
Oysho was created in 2001 as a new brand, fruit of a market segmentation strategy which the Inditex Group initiated looking to translate Zara’s success formula to the world of women’s lingerie. Oysho collections are carefully selected, offering design and trend, but without forgetting the importance of quality and comfort in its garments.
The success of the brand’s collections is based on its immense capacity to recognize and assimilate constant changes in fashion, adapting them specifically to women’s lingerie and the brand’s other product lines.
Aside from its lingerie line, Oysho has also incorporated new product categories over the years, complimenting its brand concept: gymwear, sleepwear, beachwear, accessories and footwear collections.
Oysho is owned by the Inditex Group, one of the world’s largest fashion retailers. In addition to Oysho, Inditex has 7 other brands: Zara, Pull&Bear, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Zara Home and Uterqüe, and and 7 475 stores in 96 markets around the world.
Oysho chain in the Baltic States will be developed by Apranga group following franchising agreement with Inditex. Apranga Group partnership with the Inditex Group started in 2004. Zara Home is the seventh concept of the Inditex Group developed by Apranga group in the Baltic States. Currently Apranga group manages 12 Zara, 8 Bershka, 8 Pull&Bear, 9 Massimo Dutti, 3 Zara Homme and 6 Stradivarius stores. Oysho in Akropolis Vilnius is the 47th store of Inditex in the Baltic States.
