Why not add quantum dots to OLED?

Hybrid QDLED-OLED is a dumb idea, photo luminescent QD LCD TV is a dumb idea, they will go nowhere, that is why Electroluminescent Active Matrix OLED TV is still consumers' choice over QD LCD TV. Samsung's photo luminescent QD LCD gives quantum dot a bad image and induced in consumers mind that quantum dots are garbage.

Quantum dots are microscopic nanoparticles which is self-emissive when electric current is applied and they emit their characteristic pure light based on dot size. They emit blue light in 2 nanometer size, green light in 5 nanometer size and red light in 10 nanometer size.

The design of Electroluminescent Active Matrix Quantum Dot Light Emitting Diode (AMQDLED) display is actually very simple:

Three dots: red, green and blue dot forms a pixel of micro-LED, the variable brightness of each dot results in the generation of a billion colors that cover 100% of the light gamut. The brightness of each dot is regulated by a micro-controller which regulates the ON period of each dot by regulating the pulse width of the ON time. Billions of these pixels together forms the TV picture. Since each pixel can be fully turned on, partially turned on or completely turned off, the result is infinite contrast from absolute darkness to sunlight brightness. Since quantum dots are self-emissive, no LCD backlight is needed and no light-breeding problem exist. Since no color filter is needed, no light is lost in filter as does in the Organic LED, the result is brilliant brightness with vivid colors that cover 100% of the light gamut. Orange will look like orange as seen under the sunlight, banana will look like banana as seen under the sunlight, red apple will look like red apple as seen under the sunlight, not brownish orange, brownish yellow and pinky red as the images in OLED TV with diminished brightness caused by the light loss through color filter.

QD LED is easier and cheaper to make, since it is 100% metallic, there is no burn-in images as in the carbon based OLED and QD LED has much longer life span than OLED.

Both QD LED and OLED are expensive, why double the production cost by adding QD to OLED while the burn in images will still exist in the hybrid design. Why not go 100% quantum dot LED which will offer consumers much cheaper AMQDLED TV than the AMOLED TV?

Quantum dot is the future, QD LED will be the industry standard and AMQDLED display will the ultimate display technology.
