Former White House adviser Dr. Sebastian Gorka on Saturday slammed Hillary Clinton's comments on the United States' withdrawal from the Iran nuclear deal.
Clinton said Thursday in Australia that pulling out of the agreement will make it more difficult to successfully negotiate with North Korea.
She added that the withdrawal "makes America less safe and less trusted" and said that the United States' "credibility is shot."
Gorka, a Fox News national security strategist, said Clinton was the worst secretary of state the United States has ever had.
He added that Clinton seems to be living in a "paranoid, alternate universe.
"This woman has not only the temerity to criticize a serving president, but also to do so after her abysmal track record?" he said.
President Trump last week announced his decision to withdraw from the Iran deal, noting that although the agreement lifted economic sanctions on Iran, in return it set very "weak" limits to the regime's nuclear activity.
The president addressed what he called Iran's "bloody ambitions," referencing Israel's intelligence that found Iran was "brazenly lying" about its nuclear weapons development.
He said that the agreement "embarrassed" him "as a citizen," as it unfroze more than $100 billion in Iranian assets.
"Does [Clinton] not know how this system works?" Gorka asked. "This is not Maoist China. If a deal is bad, you can change it, and that's what the president did."
