Then why did Berman say that he started asking for cash in advance from some dealerships in late March when up to that point he was selling on terms? That's a sign of a cash crunch and his A/R (Q/E 1/31/18) reflected that his DSO was well beyond 180 days outstanding.
A/R on 1/31/18 was $2,236,977
Sales for 3 mo ending 1/31/18 (Nov17, Dec17, Jan18) was $953,211
Sales for 9 months ending 10/31/17 was $1,679,105
So you have 12 months sales of $2,632,216 and yet $2,236,977 has not been collected as of 1/31/18?
Making it even more glaring is that Onci had sales for the 3 mo ending 10/31/17 of $782,855. If you add Q417 to Q118, there were 6 mo sales of $1,736,066 , yet A/R was still $2,236,977.
How can that be if collections are so good ? It calls into question either the revenue recognition of Onci or it hasn't been disclosed that customers will only pay for product once they sell it . In other words consignment)
It explains why there is no cash to buy Cogosense, factories, pay DE debt, etc. and why there seems to be plenty of shares to pay off other debt.
Did the story change for this quarter ending 4/30/18? Was Berman smart enough to start asking a lot of customers for cash up front in exchange for a significant discount of the purchase price?
I'm using his own figures. So if it's something different then his figures are completely wrong imo.
Still waiting on the Turkish insurance company he said was imminent the first week of April.
BTW this is still my all time favorite (phony, imo) PR:

Think about everything that was said in that PR and one year later has anyone heard SB mention one single thing about Asian sales in al his shareholder letters and conference calls. Where is the revenue from 250 to up to 1250 dealer groups? His words are coming back to bite him in the arse.
I'm not bashing the company. I'm only pointing out that SB's own words and his own numbers are causing the stock to be 1/3 of a cent.
