Awards Program Celebrates Top Innovators, Investors and Companies in the Region
BOSTON, May 11, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- This week, Vesper was named the Company of the Year in Hardware, Robotics and Transportation at the 2018 NEVY Awards, hosted by the New England Venture Capital Association (NEVCA) and presented by Bristol-Myers Squibb. Held annually since 2013, the “NEVYs” recognize the top innovators, investors and companies in the region.
“We’re honored by this accolade and it just energizes us to continue our mission of dramatically improving the reliability of the voice user interface for smartphones, smart speakers, connected automobiles and any connected device using our proprietary piezoelectric MEMS technology.”
As New England’s premier awards program for the technology, healthcare and life science communities, the NEVYs honor the best and brightest in the region’s venture ecosystem. Company of the Year was one of 12 categories to recognize local companies and their investors.
“We take great pride in the breadth of innovation and startup triumphs here in New England, and choose to celebrate as many of them as we can at the NEVYs each year," said Jody Rose, president of the NEVCA. “The competition bar rises each year and 2018 was no exception. We congratulate the hard work, talent and grit displayed by all of this year’s honorees.”
