Company management has worked in Ghana for the past four years developing strategic relationships within the mining industry and with the country’s key leaders. Management has selectively acquired prospective gold-bearing concessions.
In production in Ghana since January 2011, the company soon plans its second stage of growth by commencing with hard rock testing at its’ Offinso Ahenkro concession. Simultaneous with deployment of hard rock testing the company will begin to exploit the concession’s alluvial reserves.

The Corporation’s first foray in Ghana, this sprawling concession in the Western Region has proven a fruitful springboard to other lucrative opportunities.
Located on the western fringe of the Ashanti Gold Belt on one of Ghana’s most prolific rivers, the Ankobra, this concession sits in an ideal geographic setting in the low-laying river bed. Production yields have surpassed even the most optimistic forecasts with our team capturing an average of nearly 1.0 gpt.

Ghana Gold’s newest development is near the tiny village of Grumesa in the Ashanti Region.
Located very near to the world famous Anglo Gold Ashanti mine in Obuasi Ghana, infrastructure has been built and the company is set to commence production on its second site. Although only a small footprint in relation to Ghana Gold’s other land holdings, advance alluvial tests results proving exceptional.
