Logi Analytics Recognized Again in Industry Report

MCLEAN, Va., May 10, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Logi Analytics has once again been recognized for analytics in three recent analyst reports. For the third consecutive year, Logi Analytics scored for the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or Embedded Business Intelligence (BI) use case in Gartner’s 2018 Critical Capabilities for Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms1. This year, Gartner gave Logi Analytics a score of 4.38 out of 5, the second-highest score.
Logi was also included as a leader in two Dresner Advisory Services studies last year. Logi earned the highest embedded BI vendor ranking in the 2017 Dresner Advisory Services Wisdom of Crowds Embedded BI Market Study for the third consecutive year. Logi was also awarded a “Perfect Recommend Score” by Dresner Advisory Services in the 2017 Wisdom of Crowds Business Intelligence Market Study.
“Embedded analytics has become an indispensable business opportunity for application teams to add value to their products,” said Steven Schneider, CEO of Logi Analytics. “Various research shows embedded analytics contributes half of an application’s value. Nearly 70 percent of application teams say it makes their applications stickier and 96 percent say it increases overall revenue.”
From our view, Gartner recognizes a business opportunity in embedded analytics in a separate report, 5 Best Practices for Choosing an Embedded Analytics Platform Provider. “Over the past two decades, enterprise application providers viewed analytics as an optional nice-to-have feature often provided by analytics partners as an add-on capability. That has changed. Enterprise software providers need to recognize that end-user organizations are evaluating vendors on analytical capabilities rather than the core functionality.2” Gartner predicts that “by 2020, 80% of enterprise application vendors will compete on the sophistication of advanced analytics offered in their solutions.”
“Logi is the leader in embedded analytics. It’s all we do,” said Brian Brinkmann, Vice President of Products, Logi Analytics. “We have the only developer-grade analytics platform that gives application teams complete control over the end-user experience and integrates with developers’ existing technologies. This means applications get to market faster and developers can easily make updates and changes, driving sustainable revenue and innovation."
