let’s all of us put a sell price,say at $ 25.00 like this the bookie will or can’t manipulate the price as much and eventually can’t manipulate it at all
WHY YOU NEED TO LOCK UP YOUR SHARES!!!
For those who dont know as I once didn't. The MM's use shares with no orders on them to manipulate the market. Borrowing and paying back as they need and you are never made aware.
How a short works. When a stock is shorted, shares are borrowed from shareholders with no open orders and sold with the promise that they will be bought back, usually at a lower price, the price difference from "short sale" to "buy to cover" = borrowers profit, or if bought back higher = borrowers loss.
Where do they get the shares to short with? From the people that do not put in GTC orders at higher prices. So put in a GTC sell order at something way higher. When you do this, MM's can no longer borrow your shares for someone else to sell. If every shareholder did this the price will go up as MM's have no source to short from and the lowest sell order would quickly become the new share price.
Hope that helps a few out there. I didn't know this years ago so maybe someone else out there doesn't either! Now go lock 'em up!
