Being it is a weekend and May is the month of Memorial Day, a day that to me is sacred but is somewhat overlooked IMO by most of America, I am attaching a video from youtube that should be of interest to anybody that thanks the military and the other first responders who put their lives on the line so that we all can live in freedom and without fear. As proud as I am of being a Marine, I hold all other services with the same degree of respect, and certainly all the men of the Special Forces that go above and beyond.
MSgt Roy Benevidez, a Green Beret who won the Congressional Medal of Honor in Vietnam, is a man I would put at the top of my list of those I would like to have met. This video will explain why. The first 5 minutes details the ceremony where President Reagan presented him with the medal, and after that is a speech he gave which inspires me every time I watch it (and I have watched it many, many times). I think it is indicative of every man and woman that has laid down their life for our country.
