So this is the way I understand it. LifeTech are the experts in Biotech and identifying promising start-ups based on many things but boils down to future success. They then identify potential investors and once a match is made off they go to NewBridge to work up the deal. I only spent a short time researching both companies but this is how I take it. So now you can understand how the investor can be a non US investor.
