Thanks for your thoughtful comments, Elshaman. The larger point for me is that there are a lot of balls in play here. Deals that will probably but not surely happen, the quality of marketing and product execution (still TBD), consumer acceptance of the products, legal status of CBD, the legal imbroglios with Grisalfi and Li, the outstanding number of shares and the need to buy them down.
Let's be honest: An awful lot can go wrong here. That said, I continue to be an optimist, and more bullish than not. There is a clear path to success here, and the potential win is really big, given the nature of the market they've plunged into.
The bottom line, for me, is that investments of this sort are not for the faint of heart. No one knows how the future will play out. We make our bets with imperfect information and hope for a positive result.
