Now to turn around your analogy... I actually go to interviews like you said, I'm a basement dwelling computer nerd that only sees light coming out of my monitors, you think they turn me away if I'm dressed like a bum?
I usually don't look for work either, them recruiters are finding me on LinkedIn so I'm not after them either, I'm comfy in my basement churning out code.
The same is true for them, if they have a breakthrough product(s), they don't need to market themselves to end-users, there will be a line up of money wanting in, with patents and products? They're positioning themselves as major Cannabis R&D player so let them focus on what they do best and when the time is right, we'll get a fancy looking Website too + a lot more I'm sure.
