Just as your demonstration of leaves in your microwave showed, live vegetation is not readily flammable....that is not some unique characteristic of microwaves, it is a characteristic of green vegetation.
Asphalt shingle and wood houses readily burn, so do the tires, interiors and gas tanks of cars. These are wildfires not the government practicing with drone weapons.
