About 300m euros investment in the energy sector
TIRANA, April 28 / ATSH / Only in 6 months are about 300m euros contracted investments in the private sector of electricity production.
Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Damian Gjiknuri, said today at the National Assembly of PS that contracted investments are mainly in energy works such as HPPs, such as HPP in Kalivaç; Shalë , Shushicë, Grabovo and 20 MW of alternative energy sources.
To give a new dimension to the ecotoxicity sector in our country, we adopted the National Energy Efficiency Plan; National Energy Strategy 2018 -2030; legal separation of OSHEE society; diversifying energy sources with an increase in power installed by alternative energies, Gjiknuri said.
He also said, prepared a feasibility study and tender documents for finding a private partner for the TEC Vlora gas operation as well as the construction of the gas supply line from Semani in Vlora.
During this 6-month period, the Minister stressed, made the EBRD's 218 million-euro loan to restructure KESH's overdue obligations by achieving greater sustainability and financial discipline among energy companies, thus contributing to lowering the stock of the public debt that has created this sector over the years.
"Of the 3 companies of the sector have realized in these 6 months, 11.8 billion ALL of investments in generation, transmission and distribution, guaranteeing 170,569 subscribers as beneficiaries", stated Gjiknuri.xh/ / ag /
