Fred Wicks is Chairman and CEO, and founded iTeknik Holding Corporation in 2007. Prior to that he was CEO of Homeland Integrated Security Systems, a start-up venture focused on making seaports safer. He is a former Senior Vice President, with the CompAir Division of Invensys Air Systems, where he had P & L responsibility for $200 million in European and South American businesses. In addition, he had responsibility for world-wide marketing, product management and engineering.
Mr. Wicks has substantial experience in public relations and marketing with positions as Public Relations Specialist for The Detroit News and WWJ TV in Detroit, Michigan, Editorial Director for Creative Universal, and Director of Marketing Services for a $3 Billion division of Rockwell International Corporation. He was also President of The Wicks Marketing Group, Inc., a consulting company that he founded in 1990. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and an MBA degree from Wayne State University in Michigan.
Mr. Wicks served in the U.S. Army Infantry.
