$ABT I just bought a big boys stock. Abbot just bought St. Jude and is heavily in China and India where life expectancy is rising and they are well positioned to take advantage of that. Most of us are aware of Ensure and pacemakers. Long term hold, I hope, lol. It does have a dividend paying 1.9%
ABT 1Q18 sales by business segment:
Medical devices 37% (+5% YoY in const currency)
Diagnostics 25% (+6% YoY in const currency)
Nutrition 24% (+5% YoY in const currency)
Pharmaceuticals† 14% (+7% YoY in const currency)
64% of overall sales were ex-US.
†Ex-US branded generics.
