It is difficult for some investors to understand multiple businesses operating under the same umbrella -- but more value can be created for shareholders.
A good example of this from the past is Hewlett Packard spinning out their analytical instrument business from the parent company in 1999;
Since then Agilent Technologies has become a 4.5 billion company in their own right.

Using HP is intentional because of that company being viewed as one of the seed corn companies of the entire Silicon Valley.
If SGSI management can do something similar following HP's way, I say that would be great. If SGSI management can make the kind of corporate community relations contributions that HP made famous -- that would also be very welcome.
