Nice... dialogue. What you paint is a picture of essentially the best case scenario from where we stand. Well, it’s my best case scenario.... I would love for this to be the case. Outside of being gifted the whole package....
The reality is there is no proof that this is feasible in any way or that they are even taking steps to this goal, although our expectations are that this Is occurring.
I have to think about where they really are. There is no confirmation of funding or even the possibility that they could be funded, there is no real perfect fit opportunity, there have been no real organizational steps taken to prepare for the eventuality.
At this point we are not even sure if Tony cares to achieve the goal. Think about that. The dude who took over for Igor? Do you think his goal was to fly? Your kidding right? Nope - why else would Tony attempt to go around this guy to present to Vick his business plan....
It is a good plan, good colors, good markets, good everything, except the first big mistake was not squaring up the financials and changing the name. I am flabbergasted about how this was not the first step. Dba is a 10 cent way to solve a 20 dollar problem, and without doing your taxes for 3 years, do you think you would get a mortgage? Instead,he hung on to the baggage and let it weigh us all down.
Now, the next step was to find that airline - good move. But again, how can someone get 15-50 mill in startup costs without having the foundation of a company in-place.... there is no rich here... without current documentation, corporate structure, or sound process, there is no foundation. It makes me believe that he is focused on the end vision instead of the path to get there...
It was a coup to get the NYNJ deal... that had awesome written all over it... like so many companies in the trash heap, he sold the idea, not execution... again, it makes me wonder does he care? Is he the right person for the job? Can he rally and create the surprise...
My bigger question at this moment is where are all us shareholders? If you look at the potential numbers, do we not have enough power to force an action of some kind? Do you think LT is happy? Or anyone else?? Who knows.... I do know this.... there are many people languishing on this stock and just as many who have put it in storage for the year. All pretty much do to the failure of management, the leader, who cannot do the simplest of tasks like provide a cohesive shareholder update for more than 2 quarters... so the going got tough... that’s when leaders lead... and if they don’t, well they should allow someone else to do it...
