As usual my buy order is not appearing on the so-called Level 2 at either my broker OR the https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/IPIX/quote site. Sigh.
I actually talked to someone at my broker's about this. He said that it is just impossible for the brokerage itself to consolidate the 4 major market makers' bids/asks. They go with what their data providers give them. I pointed out that my own bids, at HIS brokerage, do not show up on the brokerages "level 2" and he agreed that it was stupid, but......
Obviously this is something that COULD be done by data providers if they wanted to. It's not like in the old open-outcry times, where such a thing would have to be done by hand.
