Yeah, as wife of The Count, my introduction to SFOR had a suspicious rocky start, probably like some of the other wives/significant others of investors here.
This started nearly 2 years ago. He kept adding... and adding... and adding... (and adding) and eventually around last summer I started to wonder what the heck he was doing.
He told me to check 'the boards" and do some research. So I did. I found a message board and over a few days did lots of reading... and immediately began to FREAK OUT! I thought myself, "OMG... WHAT IS HE DOING?"
He was looking at me like I was a confused crazy person when we were talking about this accumulation situation. He was like "Babe, where are you getting all this information from? What are you reading???"... then we realized... I WAS READING THE WRONG MESSAGE BOARD!
While he was immersed here at the awesomeness of The Hangout, I had been reading the high blood pressure-inducing iFlub message board. Big Mistake!
Problem solved!
It took some time to get all caught up with everyone's DD here... did some of my own research... then gladly jumped aboard the SFOR train and will continue to defend my husband's stock choice fiercely.
Husbands out there (or wives with husbands/partners who aren't on the train) ... hold strong! The key is getting your partners to read the DD if they can find the time, even if it's at 1am.
