For pain I would try CBD ingested orally in the recommended maximum dose whether in the form of gummies,pills or liquid before turning to marijuana or a derivative containing THC.The reason is that marijuana causes the munchies hence weight gain,smells if smoked and other side effects.In some states if you have a medical marijuana permit you cannot buy a gun.
