I do NOT want Prurisol results posted until the analysis has been sliced and diced in every way possible so that there is NO mistaking the results.
I have seen two companies rush to post their results. They were all excited because they understood that the results were great for certain sub-groups, but because their analysis did not break that out clearly and make it evident to everyone that their drug worked for a more limited cohort of patients, people looked at the overall results and thought the clinical trial was a failure. The stocks tanked and never recovered.
So, IPIX, please take your time.
It's a complex analysis and it's entirely possible that there are certain people that are helped fantastically by the drug, and others for whom it does not make a huge difference. There easily could be a group that has 80% success, and another group that has 20% success. You want to make it clear that now you know what group to treat, and it's hugely successful for THAT group.
